Hello! My name is Jennifer Dolz and I am the LRC1 Primary teacher at Challenger Elementary School
Prior to becoming a teacher, I taught English to elementary school students in South Korea for a year. Upon returning to the United States, I worked with students with autism for five years as a Behavior Specialist for the Center for Autism and Related Services in Los Angeles. I received my teaching credential in Mild/Moderate disabilities in 2015 and my Master's degree in Special Education in May of 2016 from California State University, Northridge.
I spent my first two years as a teacher working in the Los Angeles Unified School District in a primary autism classroom with Kindergarten and 1st grade students. In 2017, I relocated to Washington with my husband and began working in the Issaquah school district. In Fall of 2020 my husband and I welcomed our son to the world!
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my son and husband, visiting family in California and visiting the Disneyland Resort parks, exploring Seattle, going to the zoo, writing, knitting, and playing with my two adorable cats.
